Types of Car Paint Correction Services
There are 3 types of paint corrections that we offer in San Diego, CA.
A Paint Enhancement is a gloss enhancement polish that restores the gloss and clarity of the paint. It's the least aggressive service and will remove a few swirls and light oxidation.
The goal of paint enhancement is improvement, not perfection. We are not working on removing scratches or swirls. It's a clean-up of your car's paint to bring back some gloss and shine.
Next on the list is a One-Step Paint Correction. This service will more aggressively remove swirls, scratches, and other imperfections than a paint enhancement with a single pass.
Depending on the vehicle size, it can take at least 8 hours or more! Why? We have to take our time to make sure we are removing the scratches plus not damaging your car :)
Last, a Two-Step Paint Correction. As the name suggests, this will be a two-step process, removing most imperfections and leaving the best shine in San Diego! This method achieves a higher level of paint restoration, addressing deep scratches, swirl marks, and other significant paint imperfections.
What’s included in your service?
Here’s what’s included in our paint correction service:
Exterior Hand Wash: A gentle hand wash is performed to remove dirt, grime, droppings, & other dirtiness without scratching the paint.
Tires and Wheel Cleaning: Your car’s wheels and tires will be properly cleaned to have that clean look.
Chemically remove iron particles: To ensure the paint is clean, we must remove the iron particles stuck to it using chemical decontamination.
Clay bar treatment: After the chemical treatment, a clay bar treatment is required to remove leftover iron particles or remaining dirt. This will really make your car's paint as smooth as glass.
Tape off sensitive areas: To avoid areas generally damaged by a polish, we will tape off areas to ensure those areas are safe.
Polishing stage: Whichever car paint correction you choose, we will begin to polish your car's paint back to life!
Paint wipe down: To ensure there is no leftover polish, we will perform a paint wipe-down to ensure it's clean.
Paint protection application: A wax, sealant, or ceramic coating will be applied based on your choice of protection.
Plastic dressing & glass cleaning: Tires & plastic will be dressed for that extra shine, plus mirrors & glass will be cleaned.
Final touch ups: A final inspection will be performed to touch up on any areas that need to be done.

How long do the results last?
After your car paint has been corrected, it's permanent; the next step is maintenance.
You must properly and routinely wash and dry your vehicle to maintain the swirl-free finish of your paint; IF NOT, you'll be back to imperfections again.
Doesn't wax fix the problems of removing scratches or imperfections?
Wax does not remove scratches or imperfections. It only hides light swirls or scratches and can be done in a few hours. Paint correction is the only way to remove imperfections and make them look brand new.
